The Point Qualification Program is designed to enable the AWGA to name a Player of the Year, Senior Player of the Year and to choose the three (3) individuals who will represent the Association at the USGA State Team Championship. AWGA members interested in qualifying for either, or both, should read the following information carefully, making sure to take appropriate action in order to have all qualified accomplishments considered.
Below you will find a list of the qualified tournaments,
in which participation will be considered when naming
both the Player of the Year and the State Team. Different
criteria will be applied to the Player of the Year Selection
than to the State Team Selection. After reviewing the
tournament list, be sure to read and understand your
responsibilities and the selection process. At this
time, this list represents all tournaments that will
be considered. If a player would like to have an event
included in the tournament list, a written request is
required thirty (30) days prior to the event.
